"Photographing the Corrigan residence was a complete dream shoot for me," says our own Stephen Karlisch, of his recent assignment for D Home magazine. The upscale interiors magazine asked Karlisch to shoot the mid-century modern house built by Dallas architect Downing Thomas and gloriously updated by interior designer Emily Summers for their May/June issue. 

"It has all the elements I crave: great architecture, wonderful natural light, and beautiful interior design. The home sits on one of the most amazing streets in Bluffview, amazing in the sense that it has elevation (rare in Dallas), and is flooded with nature. Emily Summers is one of the top designers in the world, and her work on the architecture and the interiors of this home created such a natural flow and ease, that photographing it was a pleasure."
